The Fashion Network, a company that organizes networking events specialized for the fashion industry, including offering emerging designers an opportunity to showcase their collections to public, brought another noble project.
“Fashion for a Cause” is an awareness campagne for different causes such as Breast Cancer, Animal Rights, Diabetes and Disability, designed and produced in Dubai by a group of young and prosperous fashion inspired people.
Exclusive presentation of “message telling” posters and networking party for online fashion media was held in The Grosvenor House on Sunday 16th of January 2011. Guests had the privilege of exclusively viewing TFN’s Fashion for a Cause photo shoot featuring eleven of the most read fashion bloggers within the Middle- East.
Isidora Peric, The Fashion Network Founder and Zahra Pedram, Creative Director explained:
“Our aim was to unite fashion conscious people for a good cause and raise awareness for these serious issues. Everyone learned so much more about the causes during the project and we believe education is the most efficient way of dealing with such issues. The gorgeous vintage clothes were sponsored by Bambah Boutique located opposite the Dubai Zoo on Beach Road.”
