Last Thursday shoeRA girls had great after-work relaxing time at the “Style Connect – Summer in the City” Event hosted by fabulous Rana Al Naqeeb. It was a preview and launch of her new Reina Swimwear collection.

“The collection is inspired by the glamor of the world’s most exotic beaches and cosmopolitan trends for the fashion-conscious world traveler who wants to look at ease while remaining stylish and sexy. Offering couture designs, it evokes self-confidence and beauty in any woman. Offering styles that are both simply chic or dazzling in color and detail, each piece is sure to turn heads while on holiday.

As for trends for swimwear fringe is in this summer, so the main piece is the one-piece brown fringe swimsuit. I also designed a triangle and a tube version of the fringe. This season black & white color combo is popular, you will see an interesting wrap bikini with the color combination which is extremely chic! What’s great about this collection is that we offer different swimwear cuts to suit all body types.”

Dubai’s sweetheart presenter Simone Heng made great atmosphere, played cool summer music and offered her handmade artwork and cupcakes for Emirates Arthritis Foundation charity. Frontline Fashion was selling their stylish clothes for Haiti charity and many other stylish brands were there as well with super cool giveaways for the guests: Dinz T-shirts; N Bar gave us a free nail polish change, “Superfabme” ladies were there too, S*uce, Senasia Spa, Zen Beauty Lounge, Make Up goodies, 24 Carat tattoos, delicious Fauchon chocolate and lots more…
