Last Wednesday was a busy day for Dubai fashionable crowd. We went to meet Manolo Blahnik worshipers at the Raffles Red Lounge and Tamara Al Ghabani afterwards at the Armani Prive. I’ll be telling you more about it, so stay tuned.
At the same time, shoeRA had representative at another event that just couldn’t be missed - Gucci’s most skilled artisans came to Dubai to visit the Gucci store at The Dubai Mall.
Stylist Ivana Mazic witnessed the hand-stitching of handles and preparation of leather strips for woven stitching that are used to create the Handmade, New Bamboo and Snaffle bit collections.
The following day, on 12th May, customers also had the unique privilege to watch them showcase their Florentine-bred talent as well as the opportunity to have their favourite leather Gucci products embossed with their initials.
