THE LAUNCH: Lucy in Disguise at Boutique 1 Dubai

Last night was magnificent! It was one of those days with two events happening at the same time and you want to be in both. (Actually there was a third one too, but that was just impossible).

Please let me know as soon as cloning experts come to town! I desperately need an exact copy of myself that will continue career in architecture while the original me will enjoy life as “Jumeirah Jane” fashion blogger!

Luckily the two venues were quite close to each other so it was easy to jump from one to another.

Ok, enough with introduction… It all started with “Lucy in Disguise” launch event at Boutique 1. Honestly, I thought there’s no way Lily Allen‘s going to show up. But she did!

Lucy in Disguise is a clothing brand by two sisters – Sarah Owen and famous British singer Lily Allen. I’m a huge fan of her music and witty lyrics. Now she’s designing clothes and there were few pieces I could definitely take home.

Both Lily and Sarah looked gorgeous, wearing dresses from their very own collection. The collection is quite youthful with pieces for everyone’s taste – elegant gown, comfy caftan, little black dress, funky jumpsuit, animal prints, sequins, colours and midrange prices.

The place was packed with Dubai’s fashion crème de la crème and Loubies’ red soles were the most popular heels of the night. It was great to meet again all dear fellow fashion bloggers of the town.

The music was great, canapés and cocktails delicious. Kudos to Boutique1‘s excellent organisation and nice and friendly atmosphere. It was a top notch event deserving the worldwide coverage. I honestly believe Dubai has all the right to show off and be proud.

Unfortunately, we couldn’t stay long since “Clare and the City” ladies night was waiting around the corner at the Marina Address Hotel. After fabulous and majestic we moved to crazy party that Clare threw for us. It was so much fun with fake moustaches and killer strawberry daiquiris flowing like a tap water. Thank you Clare, you are a star!
