In addition to the story about Dubai’s fashion hotels, Middle East has got another jewel but this time it is in Kuwait City. The first Hotel Missoni in the Middle East was formally open on May 25th in collaboration with The Rezidor Hotel Group, one of the fastest growing hotel companies worldwide.
The event was attended by a host of VIP’s including three generations of the Missoni family; Rosita Missoni, Rosita’s daughter Angela, Creative Director of the Missoni fashion brand and Teresa Missoni, Rosita’s granddaughter. Each Hotel Missoni is unique in its design, reflecting the local style and culture. For Hotel Missoni Kuwait Rosita took her inspiration from the dazzling hues of the Arabian Gulf, the golden sands and the year round sunshine.
Designed for people who share a passion for fashion, comfort and design, further Hotel Missoni’s are planned around the world.

Rezidor Hotel Group’s subsequent collaborations with Missoni include Hotel Missoni Jebel Sifah in Oman scheduled to open in 2013, Hotel Missoni IIha de Cajiba in Brazil and the recently signed Hotel Missoni, Antalya in Turkey.
