Jimmy Choo unveils its Autumn Winter 2011 advertising campaign to launch in August and September books globally, shot for the first time by fashion photographer Steven Meisel.
Meisel lenses model Raquel Zimmermann in the old-world glamour of New York City’s Waldorf Astoria and captures a scene of stolen, or perhaps forbidden, romance.
Perched broodingly on a satin strewn bed, clutching the new CATHERINE bag in luxurious black soft box leather and leopard print pony, Zimmerman channels French film noir heroines, wearing vixen-like FLORA a buttery soft suede, black open-toe lattice-style boot.
For Autumn Winter 2011 Jimmy Choo takes its cue from the early Seventies and the sultry stars of the time; icons Catherine Deneuve, Charlotte Rampling and Veruschka, all admired as much for their beauty and style on-camera, as for their allure and innate sense of style off-camera. These women inspire a collection of new timeless pieces fuelled with exotic skins, lustrous furs, and rich hues of black, dove grey, winter white, blonde, whisky and vivid shades of midnight, emerald and purple.

This campaign also features men’s collection product in conjunction with the launch of Jimmy Choo men’s shoes. Each campaign image sees the Autumn Winter designs at the centre of a glamorous drama between a courtly Zimmerman and her partner.
Tea is served, as poised in her hotel suite with ladylike classicism, she wears FLAXELY, a bootie in black suede which criss-crosses its way over the foot and up to the ankle in a perfect slim fit.
