Launched in 2009, The Big Start competition sponsored by Al Tamimi Investments company, seeks to identify final year university students with a marketable idea for a UAE-based business and rewards each winner with full funding and support to establish their business and become CEO once they graduate! (I’m sure you’ll agree how awesome this idea is! I wish we had something like that…)

The winner of the 2010 competition was Dubai born and bred Yahya Stapic, Marketing and Management graduate and his United Designers idea. The investment from ATI has provided the opportunity to start the business and create the infrastructure, design and fit-out of the store, brand and market the store – and secure designers.
