REDISCOVERING: Poca & Poca at O-Concept Store in Dubai

Last week O-Concept store in Dubai hosted a preview of various labels’ latest collections. Among the others there were Tamara Al Gabbani, Anaya, Pop, Nik Nejad and my favorite Poca & Poca – brand by Karolina Gniewek, made in Poland for UAE.

Poca & Poca, girly brand now makes cute clothes for stylish boys too. Don’t get it wrong, it is not clothing brand for children, it is invented for young at heart individuals of all ages. The rediscovering experience came through all senses, in the ‘watch it, hear it, feel it, touch it, taste it and dont’ forget it’ mood with sweet macaroons, candles, video and music.

For now it is exclusively available for UAE audience, but hopefully soon Poca & Poca will be available in Europe too, where it originally comes from.

O-Concept store is one of the inspiring boutiques in town where shopping is not the only offering. Owner Omar Bin Khediya had different idea when he opened the store in 2008.

It is a place to hang out, enjoy beautiful hand picked items from young and upcoming designers, have a cup of coffee and read latest fashion magazine. The interior design connects me back with minimal European style that is so rare to find in Dubai, with individual classic furniture pieces and posters as the only decoration. Well done, from my architect eye perspective.
