Liam Fahy‘s 2012 Spring collection, The Elegant Collectables is inspired by colonial African schoolgirl uniforms, dark licorice coils, Pan AM girls and 50′s metallic typography.
Fahy uses metallic watersnake, nabuk python, laser cut materials and dark colors to bring his vision to life.
His Zimbabwe heritage is always apparent in his work and represents the merging of British and African culture.
According to Mr. Fahy heels should be seasonless, able to be worn year to year and outlast any fleeting commercial trends. Also, for next season the Liam Fahy collection will include clutch bags.
