With sweet Grana
Le Grana is a clothing label by young Pakistani designer Grana Khan. Born and raised in Dubai with Toronto fashion school education, Grana created her second collection for Summer 2012 and invited Dubai’s most fashionable bloggers for an exclusive preview.
The venue was a beautiful garden of her own family home where a proper fashion show took place. The runway, little cocktail bar, tables and cube chairs were shining colorful light and contributed to fantastic atmosphere.
Cocktails and wine were served as well as delicious bites from already famous Gramercy restaurant.
Collection is monochromatic with few bold colored pieces and one golden sequined blazer that took everyone’s breath away.
I liked the provocative cutouts in long skirts, harem pants and little dresses as well as combinations of mat and shiny textures, solid and transparent materials.

The collection will be available from February in selected stores in Dubai - S*uce, O-Concept and United Designers.
