shoeRA visited Singapore, one of the must-see cities of Asia. Similarity with Dubai could be found in great buildings and landmarks; people friendliness and cosmopolitan atmosphere. At the same time it is quite different – more concentrated, more green and more pedestrian friendly.

It is a city of great spacious malls in Orchard street, tourist Clarke quay full of bars and restaurants, rotating Singapore Flyer and one new magnificent building freshly open to publick – Marina Bay Sands Hotel, Casino and Shopping Mall just a cross the bay from the Merlion, a symbol of the Singapore city.

Singapore is a town, rich in Chinese tradition and specific local culture. China Town is a place where authentic Chinese items could be found. shoeRA discovered a gallery and a shop of that kind called Shing Gallery in Pagoda Street selling art work and these fabulous traditional shoes.

Singapore is a place of a great variety, but not in a cheep Chinese style. If going there for a shopping experience be prepared to spend a lot as prices are quite high.
